I am an artist with a history as a professional dancer from Cuba. As a dancer, I am in love with the body and the body language, the infinite ways that bodies express things, feelings, motions, moods, temperatures and colors. Because of my origin, I have the Latin way of saying things in a strong and sometimes controversial way, which is the way I speak through my pictures. Touching something! Expressing something! Sometimes screaming something as well! I use faces as the foundation in my pictures. The facial expressions together with the gaze is for me the most important means of expressing emotions and moods. Strong can be beautiful, aggressive can be interesting and dark can be bright. I make my art from photos that I take or pictures I draw. I adjust, cut, paint and change. I make a background in the same way and then put the different things together and continue with light effects and colors until I get what I want.
